OVERVIEW

Zeolite is a widely known crystal of aluminosilicate mineral, often referred to as a molecular sieve. It is used for ion exchange and adsorption and plays a crucial role in detergents. Additionally, it has various other applications, such as in animal feed as a filler, for water purification, as a moisture adsorbent, and as a catalyst.

Zeolite Naturally occurring zeolites are often impure and unsuitable for use, so they need to be synthesized, such as Zeolite A used in detergents. This was developed as a builder in the 1970s. Zeolites themselves are characterized by their insolubility in water.

Main Properties of Using Zeolite A in Detergent Products

  • Builder Function : Zeolite A acts as a builder in detergents by reducing water hardness, which enhances the cleaning efficiency of the detergent.
  • Ion Exchange: Zeolite A can exchange ions with solutions, helping to remove dirt and stains associated with calcium and magnesium.
  • Moisture Absorption: Zeolite A has the ability to absorb moisture, which helps keep the detergent stable and prevents it from absorbing moisture from the air.
  • Dispersing Agent: Zeolite A aids in the even distribution of cleaning agents, ensuring effective cleaning performance.
  • Environmentally Friendly: Zeolite A is an environmentally friendly material that can naturally decompose and is not harmful to living organisms.
  • Enhanced Cleaning Efficiency: Zeolite A improves the cleaning efficiency of detergents by helping to reduce residue buildup on fabrics.

Our zeolite powder can effectively remove water hardness in tap water within a few minutes. It has the ability to remove calcium ions up to 200 milligrams per gram of anhydrous zeolite within 20 minutes, even with changes in pH levels. Therefore, you can be confident that your detergent will perform excellently

Production Process

Zeolite is quite complex, starting with the reaction of sodium aluminate with sodium silicate. The mixture is then filtered and washed to reduce particle size. The substance is fed into a particle reduction machine. Once the particle size is reduced, it is fed into the drying process and subsequently into the packaging process for sale.

Production Capacity

Thai Silicate Chemical Co., Ltd. has sufficient production capacity to meet the demands of customers across all industrial sectors. Our production capacity is as follows: Zeolite 4A: We have a total production capacity of 1,500 tons per month, with plans to expand this capacity in the future. Zeolite 5A: We have a production capacity of 100 tons per month.
